The research is a part of an international program, and Society for the Promotion of Area Resource Centers (SPARC) aims to establish a Living Lab for holistic engagement in informal and shared mobility along with on-ground NGO partner Youth for Unity and Voluntary Action (YUVA).
This research is funded by VREF Volvo Research and Educational Foundations. The network brings together seven localised teams in Accra/Kumasi, Bangkok, Beijing, Bogota, Cape Town, Mumbai, and San Jose (CR) under the Global Research Consortium as a part of the Partnership on Research for Informal and Shared Mobility (PRISM) initiative . This initiative is facilitated by Columbia Climate School (Center for Sustainable Urban Development), World Resources Institute, and Shared-Use Mobility Center (Global Network for Popular Transport).
