Yu Jeong Lee
Yu Jeong is a graduate student in the MS. Climate Finance program at Columbia Climate School. Originally from South Korea, Yu Jeong grew up in the U.A.E., Cameroon, and Chile before pursuing her B.A. in Economics at Princeton University. Inspired by her international upbringing, Yu Jeong focused her undergraduate research on housing market disruptions and implications for mobility and affordability. After graduating from Princeton, Yu Jeong worked as a real estate investment banker advising multinational developers and operators on capital allocation and strategic acquisitions, before transitioning to an investing role focusing on property-level decarbonization strategy. She is dedicated to applying her experience with financial markets and skills in financial analysis to tackle evolving challenges to mobility worldwide. At CSUD, Yu Jeong works as a Research Assistant for the Commuter Van Project and supports the Partnership for Research on Informal and Shared Mobility. (PRISM) on popular transport research.
