International Transport Forum
Join the conversation shaping transport resilience at the ITF 2025 Summit in Leipzig, Germany, from 21 to 23 May 2025.
The Annual Research Sessions, organized in collaboration with the European Commission (EC), the European Conference of Transport Research Institutes (ECTRI), the US Transportation Research Board (TRB), and the World Conference on Transport Research Society (WCTRS) invite researchers to share insights on the theme "Transport Resilience to Global Shocks." With disruptions like natural disasters, cyber-attacks, and geopolitical crises impacting mobility, this is your chance to influence future policies and solutions.
Submit an extended abstract (up to 1000 words) and a 3-minute video presentation addressing one of three critical themes:
1. Bridging inequalities and supporting SDGs: How can inequalities in transport access and inclusivity be addressed to empower communities and accelerate progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals?
2. Advancing climate and environmental preparedness: How can transport systems be strengthened to adapt to and mitigate climate shocks through physical and collaborative solutions?
3. Harnessing innovation and digital solutions: How can adopting digital innovations and technologies future-proof transport systems and enhance resilience?
Selected researchers are invited to present their work at the Summit, with registration fees covered by ITF.
Deadline: Monday, 3 March 2025, 11:00 ET (GMT-5)
Be part of the global debate and help shape resilient transport systems!
