Global challenges like climate change, conflict, and fragility put immense pressure on transportation systems, especially in developing economies. To ensure future growth, stability, and poverty reduction, these economies must deliver effective transport solutions at scale.

The World Bank and WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities invite you to save the date for Transforming Transportation 2025.

This edition will focus on the skills, policies and resources needed to move from planning and policy to the implementation of equitable, sustainable and resilient transportation systems. Global challenges like climate change, conflict and fragility put immense pressure on transportation systems, especially in developing economies. To ensure future growth, stability and poverty reduction, we must deliver effective transport solutions at scale. Next year's comprehensive, week-long program in Washington, DC, and online will include two core forum days and many more technical sessions on additional days.

Key themes include building local capacity and strengthening institutional frameworks. Participants will explore resilience, road safety, financing, innovation, electric mobility, logistics, improving access for vulnerable groups, and more.
